The handcrafted nature of their shoes and accessories make each piece unique”. I also had a cobbler put a protective rubber sole on these ($60). I can’t tell if it’s because of my wider calf/cankles but these are too tight for me with the side zip. I’ve worn only twice and unfortunately they won’t stretch out for me. Check out the leather around the zips, they arrived this way and the cobbler advised it’s the way they’re made, and the purchase label specified there were defects. Pointing it out so you know in advance.
