joanieonie @marcemc yay! Good for you! Do you have water/birdfeeder out? If you float corks in the water they have little islands & it keeps the mosquitos from breeding too.

marcemc @joanieonie yes, I have a water feature, the ducks come to drink water from it 🦆 💙 I didn’t know about repelling mosquitoes, pretty cool

joanieonie @sarahmalekyar Me too! There are so many obvious reasons to help the bees & beekeeper but one of my favorite is when u lift the cover off the top of the hive & their delicious aroma wafts out. They're super clean creatures & work so hard. We humans benefit in tons of ways!

mendysmadness so jealous, long time ago had a product that was made by someone who had bees, it was a furniture wax, mainly beeswax and some kinda of oil. used it very sparely & for emergency wood repair. made the wood just POP, used so sparely, had it for prolly 10-15 years, every drop, it was maybe 10-12oz, even busted open the plastic, used a paste now, Johnson & Johnson furniture paste, only find this at Lowes and homedepot, not as good as the original stuff, but beeswax is the base. great stuff bees
