I am looking into the Be Lenka winter boots, but haven’t tried that brand before. You say they’re large on you? Can you elaborate?

@shelbyplease I ordered a 38 and a 39. The 38 fit perfect. The 39 was a little too big but if I would wear thick socks it would be fine because the inside of the boots have fleece which takes up space in the shoe

@liv5460 what size are you normally? I’ve been wearing 37/38 in barefoot styles, but read that I should size up with the fleece lining in boots

@shelbyplease I’ve never purchased this brand or in EU sizing before but I’m usually US 7.5 but I definitely recommend sizing up when it’s fleece lined unless you plan on going sockless

Hi! Would you send your length of foot for comparison? I’m usually a size 39 - my foot is 24cm/9.5 inches in length. I only have vivobarefoot and ahinsa.

@jmont001 I’m just barely over 23.5 with socks. Honestly these would work for me just fine with wool socks plus the lining inside. They are so comfortable. I just bought ahinsa comfort boots 38 and i need to return them for a size 39 but their customer service is so slow and terrible!

Usually a 39 EU is an 8.5 or 9 US women’s size, but I know many barefoot styles are unisex. Sounds like these run very small and I would be at least a 40 if your measurements are correct?

I’ve thought about trying this brand but also don’t want to deal with international returns or exchanges and I don’t trust they’d be wide enough for my toes…I have long toes and a bunion on one foot so my pinky toe never has enough room. Any feedback is welcome. I’ve tried Lems widest styles and they are ok, but prefer vibrams 5 finger “toe shoes” for warm weather. Much harder to find styles for fall/winter. I’m leaning towards soft star at this point since I’m in Oregon.

@graylava yes I feel these run much smaller probably due to the fleece lining but I also like more room due to sensitivity on my pinky toes and these work well for me. I don’t have bunions though so I would still probably recommend soft stars. I hear they have the widest toe box

@graylava Try Anya’s Shop!
Poshmark isn’t letting me explain much about it because it thinks I’m advertising or something. But I love her and there’s some extra wide options available.
