Artist Susan Paley of California designed an entire series of these collectable and colorful ladies. They were reproduced and distributed by the Ganz company until 2006 when the line was retired. Very rare and unique vase. This beautiful African American/Black lady vase sports a yellow hat with black and white trim. Her tunic style dress is accented with pink, blue and yellow stripes. She has pretty brown eyes with long lashes and soft purple/raspberry lipstick and blush. This vase is in excellent condition, no crazing, there is a minor 1/16th inch scuff on the rim (see photo).
