Bellestone Glossy Classic Vintage Black Genuine Alligator Collector's Hand Bag *Circa 1950s. Bellestone was the maker of highly desirable natural skin handbags, most often manufactured in Belgium and imported to New York City from the 1940's into the 1960's.  Couture styling, superior quality skins and quality construction are their hallmarks. Sold in the finest department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor and Bloomingdale's, their bags are highly prized by knowledgeable collectors.
