Belt Buckle Necklace

This is a one of a kind necklace made with a vintage Native American sterling silver Belt Buckle. It is signed with a Hallmark of W whom I believe to be Wayne Etsitty, a Navajo silversmith that made the buckle. I hung a unique broken china charm of a jumping horse to finish the piece. It is hung on a 20" chain of beautiful earth tone Miyuki glass beads along with vintage Brighton rolo chain. It closes with lobster clasp. Brighton's buckles, jewelry, chain and other silver accessories, are cast in solid brass or zinc, and then dipped in pure silver. Since silver has a natural tendency to tarnish (oxidize) and scratch, Brighton has added a protective layer of lacquer to help prevent this from happening. ✨✨✨CARE INSTRUCTIONS: To keep your jewelry shiny and beautiful, please avoid harsh detergents, Swimming pool, seawater and perfume & lotion. Please bear in mind that this is sterling silver and may occasionally need to be buffed with a soft cloth to keep its shine. Keeping it wrapped in a cloth bag will also protect from tarnishing. Always put your jewelry on last and take it off first.
