Ohh my Goodness! I lived very close to Cedar Hills. We had friends there, Gene Hill and his family. LOL This was in the 60's. I went to Bayview Elementary off Lakeshore Drive I believe :) I lived at 4902 Dundee Rd, moved in May 1968.... The St Johns river was two streets over behind us. I use to cross Blanding Blvd to go to the little movie theatre. Also to go to 7/11. I am 59 but I remember everything like it was yesterday :) I have never been back :(

@lilmisspony the theater is now an auto parts store. My daughter's boyfriend lives in lakeshore. I grew up on the far Westside towards Cecil Field in the Connie Jean and Shindler area. I'm very reminiscent about the area. If you ever want me to drive by some addresses for you and take pictures I will. โก

Awww that is so sweet of you! Thank you for the info on the theatre. It was next to the bicycle shop I use to buy candy also. I went on a field trip to Cecil Field when I was in 4th grade I believe. Boeing is now using it for drone production I have been told. My Dad has been back several times but is too old to drive that far anymore. He will have to fly next time :)

Finally got two sales out of items I had marked down. Marked four more nicer things down today. Would you please for a couple of days share the nicer items if possible to any parties they might pertain to in the evening. And then alternating the time to do morning or whenever , Share the things at the bottom that are less than $20. There's kind of a dividing line in there somewhere. Just fell down about four stairs and cracked my head. Getting older got to watch things like that now

I just love animals in general but dogs are my favorite! Max is a rescue from a puppy mill. Heโs a full breed dear head toy Chihuahua. Heโs 6 yrs old now but only a tiny puppy when my kids got him for me. Heโs a giant 5 pounds & has the heart of a Doberman! Lol

Dysautonomia Awareness month is October and we are having a fundraising dinner Oct 13. I would like to sell items my closet and donate all of the proceeds towards our goal. All money goes straight to Dysautonomia International, as that is who I am a co chair for. Please pass this on, especially to those with a chronic illness such as Dysautonomia/POTS/EDS. I did a yard sale too down the road with the stuff I got from the house and would have loved for a wholesaler to come by. My brother ended up in hospital, then in ICU, and they were talking ventilator and DNR. So, since my sister and sister in law are co power of attorney, and it's my sister in law I was going with, we decided to cancel trip. The day after other ladies left, he's released from hospital.

Then 3 days after that, his friend and caregiver were coming back from his follow up dr visit and this older man driving a rv, towing a Jeep, decides to make a wide turn in front of them , without seeing them, and my brothers car is totalled. Pam's feet , both of them, have compound fractures.

She's in hospital, had surgery on both feet, and looking at 2 more for each foot. Who knows when she will get to go home.
Sometimes it seems someone else knows what/where we should really be.

@thriftstorebol Pam's at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Lot of pain. At least it didn't crush the bones. She will be able to walk, but it's going to take several months. She says her nurses are wonderful to her. We were so worried, and still are. She has been so good to my brother the past few months, taking care of him. Now, he told her, he will help take care of her when she gets to come home. My brother was married to her sister.
I know, Soap Opera.

Pam had 2nd surgery on both feet yesterday. Called nurse this morning, and surgery went well, but she's in and out due to pain meds. They already had physical therapist in there this morning!
Brother divorced her sister. Pam was a teenager when they married. Sister is jealous of their relationship ,which
is sad. Like brother/sister,for real!

If packed with bubble wrap and Styrofoam, should be fine. More concerned about the weight of some things adding up to more than 5lbs... May need to prohibit bundling if an item weighs much...
