Berta wedding gown. Style 19-105. The dress is an ivory white, more on the white side. The dress has had alterations made on it, including additional appliqué attached to the front and side of the cups and bustier for a better coverage. It also had bustling buttons and clips attached and sewn on, hidden under the flower appliqués to not be seen. I am 5’4 and wore this with 4 inch heels, and the dress still hit the floor at the front but had a long train. There were tears in the inner tule layers

jessholland1256 Hi! What size bust/waist/hips did you get this altered too? Can you send additional photos of the tears? Was this dry cleaned after wearing it and could provide receipt?

rosie2813 @jessholland1256 hi Jessica, yes I can most definitely provide a receipt for dry cleaning and the sewing up of the tears. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of the tears before it was sewn up, but they were only on the inner most layer of tule, there were absolutely none on any of the outer layers, it was where my heels would get caught. My bust size is 32C, waist is 26 and hips is 36.

rosie2813 @jessholland1256 Alterations were done on the bust area to have more fabric put on top from the front of the cup to the back under the arm as my bust and armpit area was folding over the cups unattractively. The original dress is made for someone with a very small chest, and therefore more fabric was needed for me.

rosie2813 @jessholland1256 Other alteration included 2 inches being cut from the bottom of the dress in front, I wore it with 3 inch heels and I am 5’4. I can provide you photos of the sewn up tears.

nicolecrader @rosie2813 Hi! thanks for the extra pics just seeing this now. Sorry for more questions but bust waist hips measurements and height? I am 5 feet probably wearing 3.5 inch heels. bust 34 B/C, waist 26, hips I think 37? need to measure again it it is an A line. Just want to make sure it will fit or I can make alterations if too big, but it looks like we are about the same size
