I was so excited to buy this gorgeous Berta gown and I hope to share the love of this dress! This is potentially hijab or modest friendly! The dress has been altered and I added the same fabric to the back which is removable by unclipping it. This dress is gorgeous in person! The sleeves and top of the dress are not lined so reference the model photo. I am wearing a shirt under. No big issues with the dress but you should press and maybe clean the lining under since it is a bit dirty from walking but not noticible. Some strings for beadings are loose.
I bought this as a size 6 but this is altered so it’s around a size 2-4 now.

Hello. What size is your waist? Also, the hips are only a 32? Is there any seam allowance left in the dress to be let out? Some seamstresses will leave the extra fabric inside in case it needs to be let out.

Also, if I pay for overnight shipping would you be able to send it out tomorrow? This all depends on the hip question of course but I am very interested in buying this dress and only have a week before my wedding. Long story but this is my dream dress.

The dress waist is 28”. Keep in mind the back is open if you plan to remove the back fabric I added.

@mahakhalil286 my dress size is weird because, I am a size 2 but my hips are big so sometimes a 2 will pull at the hips and my bust is small so I can be a 0 or 2 there. I’ve noticed from trying wedding dressses on im either a 2 or 4. My waist is 27, so that should be okay. Just the hips im worried about. Do you know if there’s seam allowance to let out the hips?

@sara_rae_13 I don’t think there is room left in the hip’s because of the beading. The material under the dress is stretchy but the dress itself only will stretch so much :/
