abstractdreams You know what's funny about PM turning what for some is just customer service (and for other comes close to stalking) into a mortal sin? I don't do it, because it make some people crazy. PM puts it out there that asking if someone is interested is a BAD thing, but every other day, at the top of my feed I get a message from them saying "Do you LIKE Posh? Love Posh? Spread the word! Tell us on our Blog! Write on our blog! Say a few words on our blog!" Uh...isn't that the exact same thing??😳

keepcalmrollone I ask. I find it a way of communication. I'm a buyer on here & unless the buyer communicates with me first or I LOVE the item, I won't buy it comment. That's just me though ❤️

adelajael I have no problem with being asked if I am interested... I will politely answer and would most likely move on without remembering I even liked the item if not for some sort of communication from the seller.... Some have definitely made a sale by asking if I was interested and giving me a good deal. Just saying not everyone thinks alike

luvsmink @shoret411 ...... I agree that we all are using Poshmark for different reasons; whether for extra income, fulfilling a shopping addiction, cleaning out closets, or for a hobby. And I know there are all different income levels and socio economics involved. However, that still doesn't give people an excuse to be rude, lazy, ignorant, demanding, and just plain stupid. I get so tired sometimes of answering the same questions, when all the person has to do is read the comment above theirs !!! That's just ignorance.

sassyconnection @shoret411 I totally agree with this. Lol. I've stopped liking stuff because I'm sick of people asking "interested?" Lol. I also find it funny when u look at all the comments under some items & they're all from the seller "interested?" "Interested?" "Interested?" "Interested?" With absolutely no response. I don't agree that it's bad customer service to not respond to likes. When you walk in to a store you don't bring an item to a clerk and say I like this & wait for them to respond with a better deal. Lol. I get this isn't a typical store, but if a better deal is what you're looking for then make an offer! Items for sale have information posted for a reason. Read it! Ask questions! Buy or don't. It's not rocket science. I do appreciate each and every like I get, but I also work 50+hrs so I can't always follow-up on every single like I get. Personally, If I'm that interested in something then I'll BUY it.

kmb42 I love it...it's so tacky when someone says interested? If they are just buyers with no listings or just a few...I always acknowledge the like. I just say thanks and feel free to ask questions. Ladies you would be surprised how many newbies I come across that have no idea how to navigate the App. It's worth the time to acknowledge the buyers with no listings. I gained some repeat customers and great sales from doing that. as for regular Poshers who sell I only say thanks if there going nuts in my closet just liking everything & not sharing the listings. I assume if someone likes then shares the listing then they are not interested. Duh...😳😳

kellilee64 Omgosh!!! I love this!! I just ignore them if they ask if I am interested!! One person above asked why they would "like" something if they are not interested. Well my dear I personally will like something so if I decide later to get it I can find it in my "likes" .......And I really hate it when teenagers or girls/women way younger than I am call me "hon" or "babe" or "sweetie"......I find it disrespectful!!

jenjen1973 I LOVE this!! I have a question about setting prices, & dealing w/customers who refuse to use the offer option. If I have something listed @ $22, which is a screaming deal to begin w/, & people will just write a comment saying, "$12?" How do you politely tell them no way without being rude? I'm willing to negotiate, but when lowballers come in & offer ridiculous offers, it really irks me!! Any advice?

shoret411 @jenjen1973 There are multiple approaches.. some post in their closets saying they ONLY accept offer button and won't accept otherwise (i will tag u next time i come across one), i usually ignore low-balls, some people will tell poshers that it's offensive and explain how much the item costs to begin with and they need a profit, if u constantly get low-balls from the same person then sometimes it's best to block them before u get super annoyed and say something u shouldn't! I'm in a group on Facebook called "Real Women in Fashion" with women mostly in Posh, but other selling apps also, and people discuss this stuff all the time! There are also more experienced Poshers who post lots of tips in their closets & are very helpful for these sorts of things!

I'm also curious about the FB groups you belong to, & have you tried other sales apps? I did a little research on a few, but only read horrible reviews. I'm happy w/PM, & have had a few situations in which I was upset, & I'm longing to find out as much as I can about PM. Thanks again, your info is much appreciated💟
