drunkonclothes @hwatso1 Yes it's vintage. Sadly it's what remains of an Epic White Trash Divorce. I only got my clothes. That said there's always a pretty dress somewhere in my future. 😊

hwatso1 @drunkonclothes oh, no! I’m so sorry. I went through a horrible divorce as well, though not as bad as yours. The dress is adorable. I’m just afraid it will be too small. I’m 5’11, size 8 on the bottom, and a 36D on the top.🌺

drunkonclothes @hwatso1 Yes bad divorces are the worst! Sorry you went through one too. This dress definitely would be too small the othe two Betsys would fit. Not sure if they are your style. I'm 5'8" and have gone through a range of sizes over the years. Thus the range in sizes. The divorce however has made me horribly thin. I had over 650 dresses alone. Crazy.

hwatso1 @drunkonclothes You and I have a lot in common. I’ve always been thin, because I’m a dancer and athletic in general. However, during my divorce I was down to 120lbs, and on someone almost 6 ft tall, it’s horribly thin. After the divorce I used food to cope, and I gained 60lbs! I’m down to a healthy weight, finally. I’m usually an 8, but depending on the brand I can wear a 6. I have two full storage units of clothes, and an entire room in my house. I haven’t even scratched the surface.

hwatso1 @drunkonclothes Once I start listing items in storage, they’ll range from sz 0-14. I haven’t even thought about all of my shoes, bags, accessories! I also used shopping to cope. It feels good to begin to purge these things that are beautiful, but I don’t need and don’t use. I was married for 16 years.

hwatso1 @drunkonclothes There’s a lot of baggage, figuratively and literally, that we have to free ourselves of. I’ve been divorced since 2011, but I have my son in his freshman year in college, and my daughter is a senior in high school, but attending college too. I finally have time to begin to “fix” myself.

hwatso1 @drunkonclothes I’ve met many nice women since I joined Poshmark, but there are a few, you included, that I’m very grateful to have met and connect with. I don’t have many female friends, and most of my colleagues are men, so when I meet other women who share similar life experiences, and don’t see other women as competition I’m very grateful.😊

drunkonclothes @hwatso1 Same that no happened to me. I dropped to 120. Now I'm down to 105. I'm basically wearing a lot of children's clothes. I also have tons in storage. Sometimes overwhelming.
