This velvet retro-style dress has a deep-plunge neckline and fitted long sleeves. There is a pleated detail on the left side of the waist (see photo) that makes this dress very flattering on the body. It creates an hourglass silhouette, similar to the pencil-skirt tailoring of the 1940’s. Hidden zipper in the back. Worn only once to an awards ceremony.
