Beware fake Dooneys!

There are a lot of fake All-Weather Leather AWL vintage Dooney & Bourke purses circulating. Please be careful and look carefully at the listing before purchasing. Ask for a photo of the interior Dooney & Bourke tag and serial number. Most sellers genuinely don’t know and aren’t trying to be shady. If you’re ever in doubt, feel free to tag me, I’m happy to help. Some tell-tale signs to look for: -legit vintage AWL purses have solid brass hardware -the blue, red, and white interior Dooney & Bourke tag with serial number on the back (there are some early purses which don’t have these tags) -interior of vintage bags is unlined suede, if you see cloth it’s probably inauthentic -leather, trim, and stitching will look good-quality
