I am a established seller that has owned a store front. Buyers should understand shopping online and in store front is totally different, and especially buying pre loved items. I post many pictures without filters , that show the exact item for sale. Lately Posh has had lots of buyers that open claims, that I feel are bogus, and a clear case of buyers remorse. I show pictures, answer all questions, and disclose issues and price accordingly . STOP with the BOGUS claims !

princex7 @candicesed isn't that pathetic!!!! I had one request a refund on a cute kids raincoat. I posted all pictures. My son made a good point. They prob wore for a photo shoot and wanted money back. It has to be something. I've had more request within the last couple months than I had in years on Posh. Posh needs to do better with protecting us as sellers
Jun 01Reply
princex7
princex7 @candicesed also I open a request for some slides I purchased. Literally entire flap came undone and they denied my claim. I believe Seller glued in order to sell. And I couldn't believe Posh was in her favor. Starting to thinks it's a conspiracy. Smh
Jun 01Reply
princex7
princex7 @candicesed I'm with u on that. Another thing I wonder, y can't we see what the buyer is claiming and see what the sent??? At least give us a chance to deny or prove our stand.

2ndtimescharmmo @princex7 Yes! LOVE THIS 😍😍 I have closed my closet due to PPB's. I had one open a case on a purse with a non existent stain and the nerve to say she would keep it a have her 1/2 her money back. Posh says no and that she has to ship the purse back.
Jun 17Reply
2ndtimescharmmo
2ndtimescharmmo @princex7 when I get it, there is NO stain. And the lady says she must've gotten it out.. 😑 yea ok 😒 There are more but why re-live it lol. The one that took the cake was the case I had to open. The lady sent me two different color shoes and claims she didn't notice
Jun 17Reply
2ndtimescharmmo
2ndtimescharmmo @princex7 and it was obvious they were different. You could tell as soon as they came out of the box. They were both grey but one was dark and the other light. Posh seems to be changing more lowball offers and ride people. Thanks for letting me vent! Enjoy the rest of your day doll and happy poshing!

alyssaschell
alyssaschell I know this is an old post, but I got scammed as a seller for the first time this week. Sent a NWT dress that I purchased less than 3 months ago and was selling it for what I paid for it, and she got it, drew all over it in pen, and tried to return it. She even blamed it on my kid (I don’t even have one 😂). I’m so happy Posh sided with me, cause I was furious. I’m pretty sure I would have noticed blue pen marks all over the front of a white dress when I packaged it.

luxurycrush Hi I'm new to Poshmark, And i'm already frustrated with overly picky customers . I have several pictures, most of my items are pre-owned but luxury items. People want something for nothing . Less than half retail almost new and i got a 4 , with a comment cleanliness . WHAT am i suppose to scrub soles of shoes? i just don't get it.

minahami90
minahami90 This just happened to me! Selling a bright orange wool jcrew blazer that was considerably marked down. This particular posher had tried to get it for less than the $40 price tag i placed on it. I kept declining her $20 offers. Then she bought it and opened a case about some fuzzies being on it, some puppy hair on it (which i’m sorry but she didn’t ask about it coming from a dog free home).
Oct 17Reply
minahami90
minahami90 ..continued... There are apparently some itty bitty safety pin holes on the collar from the dry cleaner, which missed my eyes. I steam everything before placing anything in a box. But the blazer itself is in great condition - not pilling. And if wasn’t new with tags... The case I feel is bogus. And she’s my first case ever. 😣. I hope when it gets sent back it’s not damaged more.
Oct 17Reply
princex7
princex7 @minahami90 ... smh... yeah totally bring too picky too be buying pre loved. For those customers, they just looking for someone to almost give them there items. And if they want to take a magnifying glass to the garment, they need to shop store fronts instead of online... couple cases I had lately been so bogus, customer didn’t even return the item, so the case was closed. I blocked them, and I’m back to Poshing!!!! Who needs that negativity!!! Lol!!

Jan 05Reply
princex7
princex7 @hannahboston3 totally feel ya on that!!! Sucks for us sellers that get customers like that! And with the cases being opened and not fully investigated, allows sellers to do this more often than none. Believe me I’ve had similar situations. tiger1962
tiger1962 I too am getting so tired of this as a seller. I ship fast and describe to the best of my ability. If something is not addressed the buyer should ask. What we as sellers make after Poshmark takes their fee is LOW. And why can't we as sellers rate buyers?? That is not fair. I'll go back to eBay then.

lepfan1
lepfan1 I have an issue with a purchase I made and want to know if I'm being unreasonable. I bought 4 pieces of Paparazzi jewelry from a seller. I only received one of the items I bought. She substituted the other items because she had already sold the items on another platform. I think she should have cancelled the order not just take it upon herself to send me different items. This has happened to me twice now.
Apr 11Reply
princex7
princex7 @lepfan1 definitely not unreasonable. As an honest seller, she should have gave u the option to accept a substitute or cancel. It’s almost a mystery now if buying or selling experience will be good or not.
Apr 11Reply
lepfan1
lepfan1 @princex7 It gets better. Then she offered to sell me one of the items I originally bought for just the shipping price. wth? I sold a bundle once and couldn't find one of the pieces. The buyer chose a substitute, but when I eventually found the item I paid to mail it to her.

jaekuma One of my recent buyers has been totally unresponsive since I shipped the item. This particular buyer received the package on Friday but reached out to Poshmark today and claimed she can’t locate it. Really!? I understand mistakes do happen but I’m sure that if this were the case, she would’ve reached out right away. I sent her an update on Friday to confirm the delivery and hoping she would enjoy the item, and although she’s been online all these days, she remains unresponsive. Ha! 😤

Jun 07Reply
tiger1962
tiger1962 @princex7 I'm getting so fed up. It's not like sellers are even making a lot of money either with the Poshmark fees. Then you get a buyer who gives you a low rating with an "other" for no explanation when you've taking the time to wrap carefully, ship asap and make sure everything is good. I also had a buyer rate me low because the POST OFFICE was delayed. Out of my control!

ilove2shop2809
ilove2shop2809 I’m officially done with the site. I’m a reputable seller who’s been with this company for years and it’s now a joke. We not only pay Poshmark, but buyers and sellers both pay shipping fee, now we pay taxes and get s w2 end of the year. On top of that you can send your time back for whatever reason now. I sell Louis vuttions and David yurmans just for these girls to wear it a few days and send it back due to “bad lighting” and Poshmark approves it. What a joke.
Jul 09Reply
ilove2shop2809
ilove2shop2809 One girl bought a Luis vuttion from me. Down to the wire on the 3rd day when funds were about to be automatically released to me the girl opens the case and says it was bad lighting on my photos and the purse appears to look darker and didn’t want it anymore. Poshmark approved it after I’ve already sold 100’s of items. I don’t see how this is fair. I’d get it if the item was a fake, or damages but bad lighting? Give me a break Poshmark.
Jul 09Reply
ilove2shop2809
ilove2shop2809 Then when she sent the Louis vuttion purse back. She crammed it in a smaller box and when I received jr back it was so badly balled up in a ball I couldn’t resell it back-I wouldn’t do that to my customers. I opened a case with Poshmark and you know what they did? Gave me 300 dollar Poshmark store credit to spend on Poshmark, not money back. Good luck if this is your main point of how you pay your bills and main source of income

She even said I was mad because she wanted to cancel the order so I sent her a smelly plush. How ridiculous she was.

mymymonday
mymymonday She also sells lots of YSL purse, Tiffany jewelry on poshmark. Obviously she knows how it works and she's using her knowledge of the system. I can't believe people made a false claim over a plush smh. Now poshmark approved her return. I'm so disappointed about that and poshmark definitely side with buyers no matter what

love4gym Just sharing my bad experiences: @eshgh77 and @xiomarasown blocked: picky buyers not happy with anything even when I am only making $2 from a blouse 😂 Some of these people will never be happy and they will always have something to complain about.

almondljoy @love4gym hey there! one of the buyers above you have criticized as being " picky." I have done a lot of business with @eshgh77 and never had a problem with her. I also take very, very good care of my items. the item she returned was some bombshell Sportswear ankle socks leggings that were supposed to be white socks . when

almondljoy @love4gym she got them she showed them to me and they were dingy and grey. I would have returned them as well. Just because her expectations were higher for the leggings than what you would consider in " excellent condition " doesn't mean she is a bad buyer . I saw them as well, and she had every right to open that claim they didn't look good at all. just be a little more considerate when trying to represent someone in a bad way, especially when you were in the wrong . We all make mistakes 😀

eshgh77 @love4gym This level of pettiness and stupidity is simply mind-boggling. Start by not trying to pass off raggedy, tired old, stained merchandise as “great” condition. Be judicious and realistic when you are offering an item for sale and take high-quality pictures so that your buyers are comfortable with the terms of the purchase. In the event that you have made a mistake, as was clearly evident in my purchase, be gracious and accept it the return, minus the childish comments and toddler tantrum.

eshgh77 @love4gym Thank God Poshmark has a fair and solid return policy when dealing with sellers with as poor judgment as yours. Blast away dear, my feedback speaks for itself. @cherespencer7 Thank you for backing me up, no one would believe the condition of that item if they did not see it for themselves.

thewalkencloset @princex7 I’m going to create a similar post in my closet. I just had 2 buyers recently rate me 3 stars (item description—but look at my descriptions!!) and 4 stars for “ship time” (purchased 8/30, shipped across country, delivered 9/1!!).

thewalkencloset @princex7 A while ago, a buyer sent an offer I accepted, requested a return for “accidental purchase”. They claimed they never opened it. I requested a pic of an unopened box, they wouldn’t send one. Then, I said no bc I didn’t want to be scammed on a luxury item sale. 1 star. No joke. I’m tired of it. We need to be able to rate buyers.

xcheerleader @princex7 a girl just opened a claim on a Hermes belt I sold to her for much less than I had listed it for. she's saying it's not authentic because she's holding it at an angle and saying the imprint on the leather is uneven when it's clearly just the lighting angle. I sent a zoomed in picture from the listing and she's trying to say it's not the same belt so I found the original photo from before I removed the background to show it on my rug that I use as a backdrop for every listing
