Bill Campbell Art Pottery Bowl, Signed Handmade 9.5" Dish, Drip Glaze Blue Brown

Hand Crafted Pottery Bowl by award-winning potter Bill Campbell, signed. This large bowl / dish is about 9.5 inches wide. Stunning drip glaze in concentric circular swirl pattern with remarkable shades of blue, brown, purple, white, green and beige. Just beautiful! It is vintage, from late 20th century. In excellent condition, there are no chips or cracks or crazing. There are a few light scratches to the glaze in the center of the dish from use. Bill Campbell is a Pennsylvania ceramics artist and master potter, trained in art at the University of Pennsylvania. He founded Campbell Studios in 1979, which grew into one of the largest production pottery facilities in the Mid-Atlantic United States. He has since retired. His work has been included in public and private collections nationwide. He is famous for his Signature Blue Glaze and Stellar Crystalline pottery with rich vibrant glazes that drip blue rivers or explode with random crystals making each piece unique.
