I wore this once to a wedding (see last pic!) after buying it from a friend once her bridesmaid duties were fulfilled. I had it hemmed to 5’-7” with 2” heels and it still seemed to be just a smidge too long, especially on grass, so easily could be hemmed again! It does have a front slit but nothing too flashy and still conservative. Beautiful dress I just don’t need it anymore and hope another bridesmaid can save some money on her dress like I did! I typically wear a size 10/12 but didn’t want the velvet to cling awkwardly so the XL fit great for me.
