The straps have Velcro fastenings instead of the traditional buckles. Size 38 regular. The shoes have been tried on but have not been worn. Birkenstock coverts size 38 euro to size 7 US; however, I wear size 8 and 38 euro. My home is smoke free but pet friendly.
