There is no adjustment for the straps This particular shoe has a pressed cork lining on top of cork [Birkenstock described them as a hidden and flexible cork/latex foot bed]. The sole is Polyurethane [described as shock absorbing soles by Birkenstock]. Also they have a slightly raised heel, as seen on the side view photo. New, they sold for $130 The Tatami line of Birkenstock is no longer made. I bought these online from an authorized Birkenstock Retailer, but I never wore. SO, THE 41 SIZE FOR THIS SHOE WAS LISTED AS A US WOMEN'S 9.5 - 10, WHEREAS THE CLASSIC/USUAL BIRKENSTOCKS LISTS THE 41 AS A WOMEN'S 10 - 10.5. SO, IF YOU ARE A SIZE 10.5 , THIS SHOE MAY BE A BIT SHORT FOR YOU***** I AM A 9.5, AND I USUALLY WEAR 40 REGULARS IN CLASSIC BIRKENSTOCKS. THESE FIT ME FINE,
