these are FUN bright yellow with orange/red, tanish and blue/greenish flowers style like a croc but a bit stiffer and no holes very light wear as shown on the sole and footbed i am saying these are an 8. but, my shoe is an 8.5 with high arch and they fit. but, i would find them tight after walking around. i think a size 8 foot would be more comfortable. i am not familiar with Birkenstocks but the number on the bottom read "38 5" and "24 5" if that helps any
