These are not authentic Birkenstocks. There is a half size printed on the footbeds of yours, but Birkenstock does not offer half sizes currently nor have they ever. A true Birkenstock 39 will have L8 M6 on the footbed. The uppers are not cut accurately and have jagged edges in some areas. There are misspellings on the box label and Birkenstock never has mistakes like that.

The hourglass designs on the soles are the wrong size and the Birk logos have the wrong font. The lower half of the B should be smaller than the top and the right side of the r should extend out further. There are tons of examples, but you get the idea. Hopefully you can use this info to obtain a refund for them.
