Greek poet Hesiod recounts in his epic, Theogony, that the goddess Aphrodite (or Venus) was born from the white foam produced by the severed genitals of Uranus, after his son Cronus threw them into the sea. This is why the goddess's name comes from the Greek word aphros, meaning “foam." Celebrate the birth of Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, with these unique handmade hoop earrings, with dangling goddess and seashell charms!
These earrings feature as their base gold-plated huggie hoop earrings with secure latch back closures. Dangling from these is a gold Goddess charm overlapping a pink and white enameled golden fan seashell charm. Dangling from the fan seashell charm are two smaller gold seashell charms and a starfish charm. These earrings have been newly handmade just for you, and measure approximately 4.5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide.
