Striking Aldo Londi for Bitossi Rimini Blue Cylindrical Vase made in Italy in the 1960s. This is a cylinder-shaped vase with an iconic design from the famous Rimini Blue Collection designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi Ceramiche. The Rimini Blue Collection of ceramics was created in the early fifties by famed Italian ceramist Aldo Londi (1911-2003), the former Art Director of the Manifattura Bitossi Ceramiche (Bitossi ceramics) Wonderful vase, hand thrown and hand decorated with an embossed intricate relief pattern and beautifully glazed in vibrant "rimini blue", turquoise and cobalt colors.
