I was a size 6 when I bought this (I had just had a baby) but then I lost some weight and it was too big so I never wore it. I think the brand runs fairly true to size (I have several Black Halo dresses) and the fabric has a touch of stretch to it so it is accommodating and has a bit of give. Their dresses are cut well and are very figure flattering—the fabric is thick so it smoothes things out. I would say a BH size 6 is similar to an Ann Taylor 4, a French Connection 8, and a Ted Baker 2.
