4” heel with 1” platform. Faux leather, but extremely well maintained — I am happy to polish them again before shipping! Only two flaws: 1) small scratch in leather on the inner side of the right boot and 2) the front of the sole on both boots has deteriorated a bit. Neither flaw is noticeable when worn. They are surprisingly comfortable with a well-padded insole. Fits a true size 8 or slightly looser on a 7.5.
