sophie_mary @fkandrews they definitely fit true to medium. If you’re used to Madewell sizes, I’d say very comfortable, relaxed fit for a 6, and a tighter fit for a size 8. I like to wear overalls loose, but these are just too big as I wear a Madewell 4/XS. The legs fit relaxed and the length of the shorts is not too short. I will measure the waist in a second!

sophie_mary @fkandrews 17” waist. You can also adjust the strap length, so you can wear the waist higher, on your actual waist, or lower on your hips. Hope that helps!
