kdcloset @jasperlee2014 Hi Hun. The mink is vintage from Lockwood Furs. It's approximately 35 years old give or take. It belonged to my mom and is in very good condition. I'm not sure what kind of mink it is.

kdcloset @jasperlee2014 hello again hun. The mink is about 35 years old in good condition. I'm thinking the tear may be a vent slit as there are actually 2, not 1. There is one on either side of the coat under the armpit about 5 inches down. Each slit is about 2". Is be happy to post pictures of them if you like.

jasperlee2014 Thanks but I have bought for vintage coats three of them had terrors and they were dry so they were just going to keep tearing I'm not gonna take that chance anymore however I do appreciate so much your honesty have a wonderful day

kdcloset @jasperlee2014 I will send you some pictures tomorrow. I also wanted to show the mink to my friend who knows furs so I could figure out exactly what these two tears/slits are. It's odd to me because they are identical in length and location. So I'm going to do a bit more investigating and then share with you what I find out.
