aprilwellman I am unable to tell in the photo if the "gold" dress is actually gold, and could not be mistaken as off white or ivory? Would it be appropriate to be worn as a mother of the groom (or bride) dress? The bride is wearing an ivory dress, and I do not want to wear anything close to to her dress, but am looking for a gold dress which is traditional, and requested. My main goal is to be respectful to my future daughter-in-law and not wear something inappropriate.

pennaandpine @aprilwellman hi, yes this would be appropriate. The sequins are actually gold. It’s hard to tell from the picture. There is no white/cream in the dress.
