leighdempsey23 @johnnarenee Hello :) I measured around the top portion of the boot with the laces tied tight and it was 16.5 inches. I have athletic calves and my legs fit nicely in these boots. Because the tie in the back Is adjustable I think the boots look great on both thin and athletic or curvy body types. I also measured the length of the shaft of the boot from the inside of the heel to the top of the boot is 18 inches. These boots are very comfortable I would recommend them!
