Black Velvet wire embroidered drawstring purse

This unusual black velvet purse has a lovely paisley and floral embroidered decoration on one side the embroidery is done in very fine metal threads and beading in silver and golden tones. The bag is 7" wide at its widest part of the curved shape; 5.5 inches at the neck without pulling drawstrings and just under 9" top to bottom. One side is completely plain. The cotton carry straps are capped with one inch round black velvet buttons and measure 20" when not drawn tight. This makes it easy for the bag to be a shoulder or crossbody bag. There are also two hanging 6" dangle cords with the velvet buttons down each side of the bag. There is a divider inside the fully lined interior. The bag is from England, sold by Dorothy Perkins.
