Black Velveteen Cape / Wrap Skirt / Overskirt ALL THAT and 40s Vintage

It's a cape AND it's a skirt AND and overskirt. It was from the skirt on a 40s or 50s velveteen dress, done back in the 70s (before I knew I should never cut up a fabulous 40s velvet dress!). A black satin belt from an old kimono was threaded through the top to tie into a bow. This has a LOT of versatility. It's a cape, shown, obviously. It's an overskirt to wear open in front over a mini skirt (shown with plaid skirt) or slacks, like chic hostesses did in the 50s (also shown).. or open in front with a crinoline (also shown). Wear as a skirt but you have to make sure it's closed in back....or not????. So do your thing! There is one flaw. A repair fixed with Stitch Witchery, patched up. It's shown from the inside and outside (last 2 photos). WILL FIT MANY waist goes from 23'' all the way to 42'' around length is 21 ½ Offers always welcome
