Black chunky heel Chelsea boots

Bought these online & unfortunately they are too big. I ordered an 8 but these feel larger. They say inside the shoe euro size 39 which is a US 9, so I believe I was sent the wrong size & just don’t feel like dealing with the returns to Boohoo! Super cute & comfortable, I wish they fit! Only worn to try on, however there are minor scuffs on the heels that were there when I received them.
