From the bodice through the waist down the skirt is black. The sleeves are also black. But the chest and the inside of the skirt in the cuffs of the sleeves have the black and white plaid. There's cute buttons that start at the top of the bodice and go down to the middle of the skirt and then there's one button on each collar. This dress has a zipper that goes down the back of the dress.
