Black net 1950s fascinator veil with bow and flowers

True vintage item - This one is in good condition! These shapeless fascinators were often called "whimsies". The veil was used usually in church as a traditional head cover instead of a hat and attached using bobby pins or hat pins. The black color suggests this was intended for funeral attire or mourning.
