fifi1031 @sshamalova thank you 😊 I think they are genuine leather- idk 🤷‍♀️. I was confused because I have Burberry rain boots and the 39 that is an 8 is too big- and although I am a Birkenstock 8 - some boots I wear a 7.5. I am crossing my fingers as I need something that I can walk the dogs 🐶 with and not fall on my butt on the metal air shafts on the sidewalk. I am trying these Lug soles for the first time. Either way - I was trying to go cheap before investing more money.
