savannana Hi! Do you have an idea of how old these are? (Asking because I got a pair recently and they were in visually good condition but the soles crumbled instantly bc they were old)

lizluz007 @savannana I had the same happen with same shoes and also to a few “Martinez Valero” brand “dress sandals”. Old rubber can disintegrate. :-(

lissie667 @lizluz007 hi! I just checked them really well. No disintegration that I see. They were my sister’s, so I’m not sure the exact age but less than 6 years?

lizluz007 @savannana Me too. As soon as I put it on it crumbled. But the window to complain was closed. So I just lost my money. It seems this type of rubber dries out or disintegrates in other way and then crumbles when you put it on and tie it up. That’s frustrating. :-(
