Blue Banded Agate Art Glass 3 Multi Strand Long Necklace Vintage Mid Century MOD

Luxurious Vintage 3 Strand Art Glass Banded Agate Necklace with complimenting blue decorative cord string. All stones appear to be art glass faux many resembling blue branded agate. Others are clear blue complementing the branded glass. The color of the glass is influenced by the background / outfit. Blues appears deeper and more vibrant of black or dark colors and lighter on a white or light colored shirt or background. We show both to illustrate this point. The art glass art glass catches the light giving it a rich sparkle or glow in the right light. The 3 strands vary in length from approximately 24-26 inches give or take an inch. Piece is in excellent vintage condition. Little to no wear - Glass appears to be in excellent condition. nor cracks or missing pieces. Necklace has a mid-century look and feel to it, but cording indicates it may date later. It has a toggle clasp which looks like it holds. However I have not worn this piece. I tend to be overly cautious and to wear /use a Scarf clip or brooch over both ends of the necklace as an insurance policy with most toggle clasps, fastened to both sides of the necklace as a secondary clasp, especially If I plan to wear out dancing or to be active. Toggle clasp looks like holds and did when I ok photos,? but I then I tend to be overly cautious, so I don’t have to think about. I have been since I saw Nancy Reagan break her clasp and her beads rollover the stage at the Library of Congress when she introduced her a memoir.
