Blue Blue Glitter Earrings

Translucent clay is colored with different shades of frosted mica powder in shades of blue.  Black acrylic paint is added to create veins in the clay and silver leaf creating a stone look.  The clay is cut into this semi-shell design with a scalloped bottom, 1.25" x 1" and then sealed in resin.  A bright blue crystal druzy in a silver bezel heart, 14mm, hangs from the bottom.  A piece of silver-plated link chain is added.  The earrings use silver-plated, ball-end fishhook earwires and are 2.75" long.  Unless noted otherwise, all metal used is hypoallergenic and nickel-free. It is sterling silver, silver or gold-plated silver, or stainless steel. Every item is handcrafted or custom-made; nothing is mass-produced.
