@nataliehammo326 - it is not electric. If you want water or hot liquid to stay super hot fill it with boiling water and let sit covered for 5 minutes. Pour out then put in your hot liquid. It will keep longer. 😊

No I wouldn’t say that. It is a thermos. Made to keep liquids hot. But any thermos I use that I want extra hot I would do the prep. If it is for only several hours should be fine without prep.
