Truly a showstopper ring! Art deco style silver ring stamped with 830 that dates to early 1920s in Europe with Blue Topaz / Imitation Aquamarine emerald cut stone. When I bought it I was told it was a topaz, which don’t have high market value, and all I find online for the same date range from topaz to glass- but I love the color of the blue. Size 7, but I fit the style gives a little and I could wear it on my ring finger as an 8.

Hello...
Is it sterling silver?

@c868 the 830 mark predates the sterling. From what I’ve found The 830 number means that the jewellery is 83% silver and 17% alloy. Although less pure than 925 sterling silver or fine silver, one advantage of 830 silver is that it is somewhat more durable. I think it was a silver stamp from Nordic counties, which is why I believe while costume, it is likely still made in the 1920s or so.
