ugentfurs @rrguar I'm not sure what you are asking. Authenticity usually means a luxury name brand that has replicas. We can do insurance appraisals, but we are an actual fur store so this is our name brand. If what you are looking for is documentation to prove it is real fur, that's what an appraisal is for.

ugentfurs @rrguar the part of the vest that is fur is mink. As I said, we can do an appraisal, which is essentially what you are looking for. I don't know what department stores do, but small business fur boutiques don't need to include authenticity certificates as they are run by expert furriers. If you want an appraisal, contact us. I have no actual contact information for you since we had to send the package to poshmark.

ugentfurs @rrguar you can look us up and use the contact form on our site. The furrier will get back to you and send you an appraisal which will include the description of the vest and fur type.

ugentfurs @rrguar I understand now why you asked this. I see from your email that poshmark said fur tags were cut out. Unfortunately poshmark has little expertise in fur. I've even personally asked them if they have anyone on staff that knows fur types, to which they said no.

ugentfurs @rrguar con't... The fur tags were not cut out. There weren't any to begin with. Only mass produced furs found in department stores come with material tags. Those sold by furriers do not as the majority are handmade in the US and Canada. I'm sorry for the confusio.

ugentfurs @rrguar I've complained about to them before. If they bill themselves as luxury authenticators, they should have at least someone knowledgeable about furs. I see so many furs misidentified on here and poshmark tells me they have no way to know otherwise. Hopefully the insurance appraisal the furrier sent is what you needed.
