Blue Lapis and Diamond Lapel Stickpin- Vintage- 1930s

This beautiful blue lapis and central diamond stickpin was made when women wore lots of scarves, hats, and decorated their clothing. Years ago, like prior the late 1960's women wore hats a lot. Often these hats were tiny and women would pin them to their coiffured hair with straight pins or lapel pins like this one. Many women also wore lapel pins on their collared dresses and skirt suits. These pins are used to pin decorative scarves in place also. Approximately 3" Long I made no attempt to remove the patina for it tells how old the pin really is
