Tiger's Eye is a chatoyant gemstone that is usually a metamorphic rock with a golden to red-brown color and a silky luster. Blue Tigers Eye in particular is a variant of Tigers Eye. The parallel intergrowth of Quartz crystals and altered amphibole fibers that have mostly turned into Limonite, give it this lustrous appearance. It is also known as Hawks Eye, Falcons Eye, Rodusite &/or Silicified Crocidolite! Much rarer than Yellow Tiger's Eye, it is mostly found in South Africa Namibia, India, Canada, and Brazil.
