can you say more about why they don't fit? I'm usually a 9 wide, and am wondering if sizing up to 9.5 is the way to go.

@meganodhner hiya - yes i wear a 9 as well and tried that size but was a bit snug in the top and little narrow for me as well. The 9.5 actually fit me perfectly width and length wise and normally would be the right combo of comfort and heel height for me, but I have left foot athletic injury so they are sadly is not as good for me as the flat ones (even though i like the way these look 10x's more.) Hope that helps!
