They have some scuffing on the outside but you can see the soles and insole show very little wear. some of the scuffing could be buffed out with leather soap, I just don't have any. bright side: none of the awkwardness of having brand new looking work boots. well taken care of and no dry rotting or age from non use. they're called Black online but more like a dark grey in person.
