I am a word lover and puzzle lover, so I found this to be a very enjoyable game with a charming concept. A little like Pictionary meets spelling bee meets anagrams. Have fun with vocabulary, rhyming, word jumbles--and test your knowledge on classic quotes and aphorisms. The board movement is designed so that you have to hop around back and forth and in various directions, so there are strategies you can learn that add to the fun.
For 2-4 players or teams. Suggested ages are "Adult" or 12+ but younger vocab-loving kids could certainly join in, you might just have to tweak the rules to meet their needs.
I would keep this but we're having to downsize our household and choices must be made. Box has minor wear/damage from age and use (see pics) and one pencil is missing. All pics are of the actual item.
Backstory of the game: After deciding to postpone her broadcasting career in New York to stay home with her children, Diana Carlston began looking around for a creative outlet. She hit upon her long-time interest in games. In a vocabulary frenzy she read the dictionary three times, from "a" to "zymosan" and then designed Huggermugger, which means "in secret.”
