What material is the outer of the jacket? is it waterproof for skiing?

@winnerscloset hi. It is considered a ski jacket. I am not sure what the outer shell is made from. I can go read the tag more closely.

The other side of the tag doesn’t say anymore. The outer shell is polyester.
