Boho Agatized Coral Fossil Pendant

Corals are marine animals and it is their skeletons that are fossilized and preserved, The entire process can take over 20 million years and occurs only under unique geological conditions. This particular cut of Coral Fossil is called "Centipede Fossil" because it looks like a centipede. I created a *Filigree Design on the back plate of Sterling Silver to match the markings on the stone. The entire piece was created using Fine Silver (.999%) & Sterling Silver (.925%) using silversmith technique
