The handles show the minor color imperfections of the leather.
Barely used except sitting on a closet shelf

@birdiexant hi there, I’m not sure because it’s been like that since I bought it new. The sales woman said it was due to the natural leather. Several other baskets had the same markings on the leather. I’ve never tried to remove it so it’s possible a leather cleaner or conditioner may lessen the look.

@birdiexant I just used a mild soap and a toothbrush to see if I could get it off. I appears to have come off either mostly or completely. :) I’ll add updated pictures tomorrow once the leather has dried.
