Bonnie Cashin Cashmere Sweater and Skirt Suit 2pc Intarsia Knit Saks 1960s Rare

This incredible two-piece ensemble was designed by the most significant American designer of our time, Bonnie Cashin. Made from an incredibly supple mustard-hued cashmere knit, it features an abstract intarsia design in raspberry on the front and in magenta on the back. The matching pencil skirt is lined in mustard silk. 100% Cashmere. Dry clean only. Made in Scotland. Tagged Designed by Bonnie Cashin and Saks 5th Avenue for Caerlee Preowned/vintage (50+ years old) with minimal signs of prior use and wear: we note one small hole to the back of the sweater top (just below the collar - see last image). No size tag, but we're estimating this set as a size small, based upon these measurements, laying flat and doubled where appropriate: *Sweater top: shoulders - 16in, bust - 34in, waist - 28in, sleeves (raglan) 14in, length (from top collar) - 23.5in. *Skirt: waist - 26in (with appx.1in comfortable stretch), hips - 36in, length - 26in
