Preowned, vintage Bonnie Cashin for Coach Chunky Tote bag, likely made in the mid 1960s. Made from a patina’d dark tan (almost brown) leather, it features a wide kiss lock pocket in front and a roomy interior with one zip pocket, all lined in Bonnie's signature striped fabric. ***Note that this bag has a zipper closure on the main compartment, which appears to have been added after-market (see photo 12, and which shows unprofessional hand stitching)*** Made in the USA. Pre-creed with black metal Coach tag. Approximate measurements: 11in L x 7.5in H x 3in D with a 6in handle drop. A great Bonnie Cashin for Coach bag that holds a bunch - but it NEEDS a make over! Perfect for someone who's looking for a rehab project! Condition: Preowned/vintage with DEFINITE signs of age, use and prior wear: color variation, rubs, marks, stains and pen strikes to the exterior (see photo 6 for the most noticeable pen strike); the handles have spots/discoloration (shown in all pics but see photo 9 for detailed image); part of the fabric on the kiss lock pocket is coming loose from the hardware (see image 11); spots to area around inner zipper; scratching to kiss lock hardware; some loose stitches on the handle bottoms.
